My daughter had asked, before we left home, if we could go to Canada. I was able to snag a great deal with the Victoria Clipper that is a speed ferry from Seattle to Victoria that included a lovely hotel for 1 night.
We left Seattle at 8 in the morning and arrived at 10:30 in the morning!
We had gone to the Lego store in Belleview the night before so we could pass our time on the boat. We ended sitting next to this cute family, returning from a visit to China. The little one helped us with our building of Big Ben.
The older sister is an accomplished Origami artist. She spoke Chinese, Japanese, English and French. She also plays 4 or 5 different instruments. When we first met this family, this one was KNITTING!
