Shepherd's Wool and Crazy Back In Stock

Shepherd's wool and Crazy are back in stock.  I did lose one skein to the dogs.  I have no clue how they got on top of the tall kitchen counter to get it.  They must be working as a team.  Sigh.  I guess my daughter will get a new beanie.

Happy Stitching!

Opal Sock Yarn Rainforest 10 - Plus

Everyone loves Opal Sock Yarns.  I've made several pairs of socks with it this past summer.  I didn't have any large projects planned, so socks were a no brainer for me.  Opal sock yarn, again, makes it easy as the yarn does all the work and all I have to do is knit.  I'm now working on a pi shawl.  Details in future posts!  Scroll to the bottom for my latest socks!

Happy Stitching!

One Planet Yarn and Fiber August 11th Sale!

One Planet Yarn and Fiber August 11th Sale!
Hello All.
Things have settled downa little bit here.  Everyone recovered enough so that we were able to head up to Seattle last weekend to visit our son.  They weather was great and we spent most of our time outside.
The Destash Sale is still going, but I have lowered the prices up to 55% off.  Because several of these items are now below my cost I will not be offering free shipping at this time.
There are still over 500 items available at the destash price.  The sale prices are only available in the online store. No discounts will be give in the shop. If you get any error messages when trying to order, please let me know.
My personal yarn stash is still up for sale on Ravelry.  I started buying yarn before I owned OPYF.  There are many yarns I purchased just because I liked them.  I thought I would figure out what I would do with them later.  Well, it's later, and my purchasing habits have changed, so I loaded up the yarns on Ravelry.  I will be adding more.  I also have too much personal stash in roving.  I could never, in this lifetime, spin all the fiber that I have on hand.  My Ravelry user name is sharptalk.  If you have a question about any of my stash or roving that I have not posted yet, just send me an email and we can discuss it.

There are over 600 products in the Sale/Closeout section of the website.  Items are marked down anywhere from 20% to 55% off.  Quantities are limited to stock on hand. Once these sale items are gone, they are gone!

City Girl's Fiber Farm Morning Surprise!

I woke up to this text message this morning-

Cocoa has a grandlamb

Since I was not expecting any more lambs this year I was really surprised to get this news.  Our little Cece had a wee baby girl this morning.  She is so tiny that she can't reach her mama for food, so Mary is feeding her with a syringe.

What do you think?  Isn't she a cutie patootee!

Happy Wednesday!

P.S.-I am sorry to say that this little peanut was only with us for 36 hours.  She passed away on June 5th at about 6 PM.  Her brief life gave smiles to many.

Off the Beaten Path - Our First Day in Barcelona

On the 30th of January we headed back to the airport in Madrid to take a short flight over to Barcelona.  We flew Iberia Airlines.  I do have to say that the coach section of the aircraft has the smallest space from the seat in front of us that I have ever seen!

Mike Piranty picked us up at the Barcelona airport and drove us to the Villa Victoria Barcelona, where we were greeted by The Villa's owner, Victoria, her husband and their housekeeper, Olga.  We were really overwhelmed by the Villa, but that is a story for another day.

Olga lead us to a nearby restaurant for lunch.  The food in Spain is amazing and the cost to eat out for a fantastic meal puts the US to shame.  Lunch included bread, olives, a bottle of wine each, a bottle of water, a first course, a second course and dessert or coffee, for 23 euros, for 2, including tax and tip.

Sights along the walk back to the Villa.

Enter the Villa Victoria Barcelona!

I fell in love with this built in espresso maker in the Villa.

The living room at the Villa.

There is an entire blog coming up with many pictures of the Villa.  I am so excited to be sharing this with you!

Happy Trails!
