Introducing the Brioche Kit
How exciting!! We are celebrating our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!! Did you get our Holiday Sales Newsletter? If you missed it, drop us a note at info@oneplanetyarnandfiber.com and I will send it along to you! It tells about all of our special celebration savings and new products.
We are super super excited to introduce a new sweater kit called BRIOCHE. Brioche was designed by our good friend and talented designer, Wendy Bernard of Knit and Tonic. Wendy's patterns are always so special and we have tried to make it easier for you to knit Brioche by offering a special kit as well as suggesting some alternative yarns for those who may not want cashmere. We have a special discount for you on the alternatives too. Just buy the BRIOCHE KIT if you want the pattern as shown, in Black Pearl Yarns DK cashmere in black onyx, or use the discount code BRIOCHE for one of the recommended substitute yarns. These are Artesano of England's fine Inca Cloud or Inca mist alpaca yarn, Jo Sharp Alpaca Kid Lustre, Silkroad DK Tweed or Alpaca Silk Georgette ,GGH Cumba yarn (merino and alpaca) or Sheep Shop Yarn Company's Sheep Three Merino and Silk.
We are also in the process of a new "KIT" section to the site. There will be some redundancy but for people who love kits, we wanted to put them all in one place, organized by the type of garment, so watch for that soon. We have started listing all of our own patterns and some others in kit form to provide a savings to you for buying a bundle of yarn along with the pattern.
Other new things coming soon? We have some gorgeous (and I mean gorgeous) handspun yarn from Felt Studio in England that we will be putting on the site this week. We are anticipating a new order from Yarn Pirate soon. We'll announce the date here. And we have two other brand new Indie companies which are incredible and we'll keep those a secret for right now!!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS! And if you do not get the holiday sales flyer, make sure to let us know so you can see it!!

I would like to know what yarn was used in the sock shown next to the Fleece Artist yarn in your Anniversary flyer this week. I love it!! I am new to sock yarns and sock knitting and I want to know everything about the yarns. I am fascinated with the self-patterning yarns.
whose yarn is in those socks pictured in your anniversary flyer?
i love the patterning!
Hi, I am not sure which yarn that is. It is from a Wildhorse Farms sock pattern that we had, and now we are out of stock! I was just trying to show "Sock Patterns" I was not showing off that particular yarn! Sorry, I don't know. We do have to order more patterns and when we do, I will post the yarn names.
