Something You Might Like - WIPS

I have, as usual, several works in progress.  What am I working on?

My swatches for the first level of Master Knitters (still), using Shepherds Wool.
the Trapeze Mystery KAL by Laura Nelkin, using HandMaiden Swiss Silk.
Gypsy from c2knit.
A couple of pairs of socks.
The Bamboo Swing Cardigan from Be Sweet Yarns, using their Bamboo yarn.
A project on my rigid heddle loom.
A project on my Pocket Wheel (which is waiting on one of the treddles to be repaired) using Mountain Colors Roving.
And several design projects which continue to elude me.

But, I have managed to finish a project that I am very proud of, the Wavy Lace Tunic by Gayle Bunn.  I created a chart for this on.  Let me know if you want me to email it to you.  I used Sublime's Bamboo Silk for this project,  I love this yarn!  I got it at the Fiber Factory.
Happy Stitching!

Something You Might Like - Trip to Williams, AZ

A couple of weeks ago my husband's sister and her husband arrived for a visit.  We joined them and 2 other siblings of my husband and some of the kids at a campground about an hour from the Grand Canyon.  The weather was much cooler than here in the valley.  We even got some rain while we were there.

One of the families had a pop up camper, one had a 5th wheel, we had our Airstream and one family rented a cabin.

We had a great time.  We were there for 3 nights and then we all split up to head on to home, or on to the next adventure.

Happy Camping!

Karen

Something You Might Like - Melon

It's not easy to grow things here in the desert in summer, but we were able to start harvesting some cantaloupe to eat.  These babys each weighed well over 3 pounds each, yum!

Happy Gardening!
