OPYF Sensational Scarf Of The Month Club Now Open!

Hello OPYF Readers!  I was able to do a little bit of clean up in the clubs section of the website.  I was also able to build one more club today.  The OPYF Sensational Scarf of the Month Club.

I love to dye.  It's just wonderful to see the color develop as the skeins are drying.  Each month I will dye a small batch of yarn using Lanas Puras Melosa Fingering Weight yarn which is 100% single ply merino wool.  This will be dyed exclusively for our club.  Each color will be unique and will only be available at One Planet Yarn and Fiber.  The yarns will be different colors each month and will have enough yardage to make a lovely scarf or to use for some other project.  Spaces are limited so please make a space for yourself or a friend or family member as soon as possible.

Melosa is spun in a small mill in South America and then handpainted by artisans.  It is softly spun into a unique single ply yarn.  It is not a handspun yarn but it looks handspun because of its unusual ply and structure.    Melosa, in Spanish, means "sweet" and this is the ideal name for this soft pure merino.  It is next-to-your skin soft, felts well, and is great for all kinds of items from socks to shawls to sweaters.

Regards,
Karen
