Last Saturday my friend Terri from The Fiber Factory asked me to go with her to the monthly meeting of the Desert Weavers and Spinners Guild. I am so glad she did. I learned so much and met many wonderful people, women and men!
There was a formal presentation from the woman in red. She had gone to last summer's Black Sheep Gathering and taken several classes there to improve her spinning. She explained everything shown on the table and presentation board. Wow!
Members are encouraged to bring along a show and tell. This wreath below was made from hand spun paper!
