Day One Of Our Vacation

This would be the day after we drove through the desert heat for 6 plus hours to go to Pacific Beach in Southern California.  The weather change was worth every minute of the drive.  We left home on a day it was going to be about 112 and arrived at the beach at 78 degrees.  The first 2 pictures are the view from our room.

 This second photo shows the deck for the suite at the hotel that sleeps 8.

 We made a trip to Target to look for some beach toys.  Boy were we startled by this escalator for shopping carts!

From here we headed over to the Spanish Village where there were many artists' guilds set up.  I was able to snag these polymer clay buttons fro artist Gail Woods.
