The Master Spinners course that I was hoping to take was canceled for right now.  US customs would not allow the Canadian instructor in to the country because they couldn't figure out why anyone would pay monwy to learn to spin.  It is a big disappointment, but life moves on.

In April I will be taking a weaving class, learning to weave on a four harness loom.  I received a grant for the Desert Weavers and Spinners Guild to study weaving and will make a formal presentation to the guild about my work next year.  Yes!

The SALE page is still loaded.  The move is less than 4-6 weeks away!  Don't forget to check it out.

There is a March Blog Contest!  The prize for this contest is a 100 gram 1 ply skein of hand painted 100% merino fingering yarn from OPYF.  There will be 3 winners chosen at the end of the month.  In order to enter, you must sign up as a subscriber to the blog and post a positive comment on any blog story.  You can just say hi or you can write a little story about what you are currently working on.  Winners will be chosen during the first week of April 2011.  If you have already won a prize from OPYF, you must wait six months before you can enter again, but your sharing and comments are always welcome.
Everyone, can you please send the word out about the Blog and the contest?  For every person that you refer that follows the Blog and posts a comment I will give you an extra entry for the contest.  Make sure that your friends say who referred them so you can get the credit!
