The Fiber Club is still waiting for fiber, which is now unpacked.  I'm just waiting for all the plumbing to work.  The Plumber is here right now hooking the gray water into the sewer line.  Hopefully I will have it to you before the end of this month.  Look for something extra in the box to make up for the delay.

I attended my grant money weaving class last week.  It was so much fun to learn to weave on a floor loom.  My friend will deliver her loom to me in the next week or two.  I will take some more classes on technique before the end of the year.  I will then make a presentation to the DWS Guild next February.  Blog on this is class coming soon.

Here and being added in next few weeks!
-New handmade drop spindles from Greensleeves!

-New patterns from I Live On A Farm - Another wonderful designer that I am adding in here.

-New yarns from a new company for me - Yarn Place - Bamboo and lace and fingering weight in merino.

The May Contest is a continuation of the April Contest as there are no winners yet. The prize for this contest are some lovely knitting books donated to the cause by Mary Glendinning.  There will be 3 winners chosen at the end of the month.  In order to enter, you must "like"
One Planet Yarn and Fiber's facebook fan page. You can just say hi or you can write a little story about what you are currently working on.  Fan number 225, 250 and 275 will each receive a new book of their choice from the collection I have on hand here.

Everyone, can you please send the word out about the facebook and the contest?

One Planet Knitters Group and my Blog, Facebook and newsletter for May's contest updates.

The April KAL using No Two Snowflakes pattern "Forbidden City Shawl" and madelinetosh  tosh merino light is well under way.  I have reached page 6 of the pattern.  How are you doing with this?

Still behind on my Noni Perfect Fit Laptop Sleeve.  Need to get this to the tailor to finish up.  The dates for completion for the shawl will be May 15th.  More info will appear up on the Blog, Ravelry and Facebook Fan pages as I finish things up.

The plumber just told me he has to remove one of the 2 toilets and cut through the wall.  Apparently the old iron pipes were eaten away by Drano and wood is exposed.  Sigh.....
